It has become common practice to treat illnesses once they arise. It is imperative for our society to begin taking preventative measures towards good health. Purchase meat and poultry that are grass fed, antibiotic free, and as fresh as possible. Eat nuts and seeds, preferably raw and unpasteurized. Always eat fish that is wild caught and not farm raised. Consume organic dairy in order to avoid added hormones that are detrimental to your health. Use only organic seasonings in order to avoid concentrated pesticides. Consume oils that contain healthy fats such as olive oil, coconut oil, and coconut butter. Avoid all processed meats as they contain Nitrates that have been linked to Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Diabetes. Use Himalayan or sea salt instead of iodized salt. Avoid products that contain high fructose corn syrup, agave syrup, or artificial sweeteners and when you do use sweeteners, always use them sparingly and choose the following: organic raw honey, coconut sugar, mesquite powder and stevia.
